I found out on lj, and woke up my mum to tell her, she didn't seem hugely impressed with this (it's 3am here).. and the only person I've collared to speak to about it really didn't care. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's shocked.

I was quite shock too, even if I am not his fan but I still love some of his work in the past.

Yeah, I remember him a lot from my childhood, and from me singing his songs badly. :) He had some amazing songs.

I was shocked, think I still am - got in last night after picking my mum up (about 23:50) we were barly through the door before my sister was asking if we'd heard about Jackson - she had bbc24 on

I was never a big fan but he did have some awesome tunes, that I'm sure will be classics for a long time to come

I saw a post on lj hinting at it (around 2:30am?), turned the tv on and it was the first thing on.

And yeah, I wasn't a huge fan or something, but I did love a lot of his songs, and I heard him so much as a child so...XP
