(no subject)
Petra is showing up again. On my iGoogle page I have the widget that shows pictures of places that you should visit before you die. So, I pulled up the page to see the quote of the day and there it was. A picture of Petra. I almost forgot that we went to a timeshare presentation while we were in Vegas. So the manager is doing his little spiel blah blah blah. And he started describing this one place he went to that was the most amazing...Petra. I was about to fall out of my damn chair. I'm just accepting (and welcoming) the fact that I have to fly over there. No if, ands, or butts about it.
I haven't had much time to enjoy reading books lately so I'm thinking of buying some audiobooks and playing them on my iPod during my commute. I'm so used to physically holding a book that doing the audio thing is a little odd for me. But while doing the crossword puzzle this morning I realized that my vocabulary is ok but not anywhere near what I want it to be. Time to be the nerd again. LOL
Got home this evening and there was a package waiting for me. Opened that sucker up and what was inside? My copy of Vogue Italia. Hell yeah. I'm glad I ordered it cause I was so not in the mood to walk around the city looking for this issue. Now I think I'll spend a few minutes getting acquainted with my magazine. Ja.
