I'm Waking Up At The Start Of The End Of The World
So. AE. Yeah. I've got a write up for it, but it's not 100% finished because I've come down with a cold, so bear with me. I'll have the con report up Friday, or if not then, Tuesday after I come back from my camping trip.
Anyway, I just wanted to post a link to an article [HEREPLEASE] about cosplay in Malaysia. Why? Because its truth bares a stricking resemblance to the reception of cosplayers/ing here in North America.

That last line will be memorized and used against my mom the next time we fight over my steadily growing love for making cosplays. Surprisingly enough, my dad could care less and actually finds it kind of cool. Huh. Go figure.
And I know I've got some Twilight fans amoung my eljay friends here, so I want to quickly pimp this little piece of amazing fanfiction called Elegiac by Maiden of the Moon. First of all, Maiden of the Moon is an amazing writer; I've been with her since her Yugioh days, so I get an alert every time she updates, and she recently uploaded a splurge of Twilight fanfiction. Now, I don't particularily like the serious (though I've read the first two books) enough to ...obsess and fangirl over it like I have other series, which means I wouldn't have looked for this fanfic, but it's by Maiden of the Moon, and the plot sounded really good, and what do you know? It is. There's only a prolougue and 3 chapters, and there's one chapter left to be posted. Whether you like the series or not, I think you girls should get your butts over there and read it! It's a unique twist on the Little Mermaid fairytail, and I love the Little Mermaid, so. xD
Also, OMG TV YOU ARE RETURNING TO ME SO VERY, VERY SOON!! Every time I see the television promo's for Chuck, HEROES, SPN, Smallville and Bones, my heart burns a little more with my love for you~ Know what this means? Yeah, that's right, CRAPY FANFICTION AHOOOYY!! 8DDD
.....no, seriously. I've got the itch, and I've got this Veronica Mars/Bones cross over I wrote a centery ago that I wana spruce up, and I've got this AU Smallville/JLA future thing that was supossed to be all serious and emo buuuuuuuut I kinda failed. =____=;; Maybe I can fix that. Bah, I'll have lots of time since we're camping/tenting this weekend and according to the weatherperson (LOOK AT ME MOM, I'M POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!! 8BB) the weather = lots of rain. Plenty of time to spend inside my tent and writing, ne?
