jasmine will not go to beijing
they decided i should go on training earlier. earlier means next week in singapore.
the bossw@ld told me at 11:30 this morning. it was probably decided at the 10:00 am meeting with the super bossw@lds.
i spent the day scouring the internet for flights and hotels near the training venue. deadlines, i shall worry about you when i'm sure i won't have to sleep on park benches/hotel lobbies/vacant zoo cages (!!! and what about bathing !!! )
marriott was highly recommended (thanks, friendly friends!!!) but the training is near the marina.
my credit card will be more than maxed out. bossw@ld says i should try to get an advance/traveler's cheque since the dollar may depreciate to php 39-usd 01 in a week. (what?!) if my panicky computation is correct, that's more than a month's salary!!!
so i fly out on sunday morning, attend training from monday-friday, restudy on the weekend, pass the exam on monday morning, they fly back in the afternoon.
can you guess how many cigarettes i smoked today?
i shall regret missing the beijing schedule (in an olympic year!!!) after i pass the exam.
