i felt no hostility/rebelliousness when i learned i'd been promoted this year.
and it still surprises me that i get really good feedback from the b0ssw@ld.
all the other stuff "i had forgotten about" no longer matters because "this is all i can give myself."

i was walking to greenbelt iii when i remembered that along with the raise in pay comes a "raise" in taxes. i stopped, brought out my phone and multiplied to find out how much i will not be spending on books. for about 2 hours i totally forgot about "all that i can give myself."
