Nine days people!!! Dragoncon might just be better than a weekend of midget tossing. Dare I think it? Oh, I DARE!
Other than that, I've been working pretty hardcore both at the REC and at Gamestop. Madden 07 comes out today, so it's gonna be a madhouse. I hate sports games. They are pretty much the fodder of gaming. A bane on the existence of the modern gamer. What do I know, right? They are targeted at these 30-something, redneck, asshole, wastes of space that can't get over the fact that this year you can see sweat on the players. WTF? How gay is that? I'm of the schooling that if you want to play a sport, GO OUTSIDE! I like playing games with situations that I could never possibly find myself in. For example: comic book superhero, international spy, archaeologist searching for hidden treasures at the risk of death, native american fighting against aliens, escaped convict, badass martial artist battling for the safety of my realm...well I guess you get the idea. Anywho, "To each his own" or whatever floats your boat.
