A birthday! And J Rock Meme Day 2
First and foremost,
Happy Birthday Jie!
I think this is the first birthday that we are celebrating apart. I really wish I could be there with you guys! But anyway, do have a blessed birthday and may you continue to enjoy great opportunities and successes! Do continute to have fun and live life to its fullest. Let's celebrate again when you come up in December!
So, onto J Rock Meme Day 2.
The J Rock Band you like the least.
Here goes:
Scandal
Ok this was hard to execute for a couple of reasons:
1. It was, honestly, a toss up between Diru and Scandal. I figured that I could see artistry in Diru that did hold my attention. Not in a good, nor a bad way, mostly neutral. But since I actually take a rather long while to decide if I like a band i.e. I must listen to them a couple of times then digest it over a day or two, I figured I could always listen to Diru some more before I decide if they make the bottom of my list or not. So yes, I confess I have not listened to Diru enough, but I actually did try with Scandal, and found out that their music is definitely not to my liking!
2. I didn't know if I could classify Scandal as 'rock' per se.
3. I felt guilty. Seriously, it is crazily difficult to make it in the world of showbiz, J rock inclusive. Most of the scene is dominated by male bands, and Scandal has gone rather far with their own one-wo(man) tour and all. So while I should be supporting my own gender and all, here I am saying I don't like their music. Rather awful, isn't it?
Maybe day 3 would be more straightforward.
