Something I might actually regret, and the meme :)

I have chosen to ignore the fact that I have class tomorrow. Thank God there is no homework or what that I need to rush for it. And also that there is only one, instead of the usual two classes tomorrow since the 2nd class was held last week amidst the exam period.

Anyway, here are some pictures from my latest shopping trips. Goodness, the fact that I had to add an 's' before the fulstop of the previous sentence scares me. Time to turn into scrooge again!

But before that, I am down to the last few drops of toner. So i decided to get a replacement from none other than Innisfree!

I bought this from the outlet in Hongdae. Probably a mistake on hindsight, since they aren't equipped with Chinese/Japanese speaking staff - no point hoping for English speaking staff, they don't exist here in Korea! Given my limited Korean skills, and the fact that I didn't foresee going to MyeongDong anytime soon, I ended up buying this bottle of Olive Serum just by sheer faith in the brand :-S. I did try iit though, and I liked the smell, texture and all, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I tweeted yesterday that I bought an issue of Spring just for the Jill Stuart tote.

It turned out to be a lot smaller than I expected, but still perfect for some light grocery shopping. And it fits the magazine snugly, so maybe even for those days where I need to carry an extra book or two.

And I ended up going shopping today...again! It was an impromptu trip, Mika sent me an sms just as I finished grocery shopping, asking if I wanted to go to MyeongDong with her, and I said yes!

Maybe it was a retribution of sorts, for not holing myself up in my room and saving money and trawling Myeongdong, an absolute money sucker instead. So I ended up with a purchase that I actually am having 2nd thoughts about. I've always been very certain about whatever I've bought in Korea, well, up till now.

So here is the purchase:

Ok, the damage was not bad at all (10,500WON, down from 35,000WON).

But the more I look at it, the more I keep thinking, "Where have I seen this before?". It was at the back of my head all throughout the way back to the hostel, and only after I started typing this entry did it occur to me that yes! I've seen it before! In two pictures at that!

So yes this dress is pretty much an accumulation of this picture:

And this one (look to the right) :

How am I going to wear it without looking like I dug it  out of the PSC rejected wardrobe :-S In the mean time, I have cast it into the laundry bag for it to await its turn in the net.

So, on to the meme!

Day 5: What is your favourite J Rock song?

I toyed with a couple of options before I finally came to :

Frontier by Deluhi

I chose this because:

1. This song was not just performed, but premiered, at the very first J Rock concert I attended, with Jie no less. I think we all know by now why the whole Japan trip was so special to me and Jie, and how that makes this song even more special so, enough said!
2. We attended the opening concert of Deluhi's Tour, so that effectively means we were one of the first few members of the public (notwithstanding some Jourens who probably got privileged early access) to hear it and watch the PV.
3. The lyrics speak a lot to me. The phrase, 'Keep on going, overtake your sorrow', has served as a mantra on many occassions. In fact, I have been using it to spur myself on a lot these days.
4. Whenever I run and my energy level starts to sag, this song keeps me going again. Similarly, one of the ways I've remedied the many low points I've hit these dayswas by listening to Juri belt out, '未だ見えない光を信じて, 今この声聞こえているなら.
