I will Survive...
So tonight was an interesting one to say the least. In fact, it was so interesting.. it deserves an update in the good ol LJ right away.
So let see... I go to class in the morning. Then Lunch, where I don't eat. Then decided to skip astronomy like a bad girl and be a typical girl and go shop with Kara at good ol' Eastview mall. So we shopped for like 3 hours. Found some great deals, and bought some mother's day things for those mothers that we have. It took me a while though, but I finally found something for my Gma. I was looking all over for hello kitty things. So I found this big plush/pillow of hello kitty and a placemat for my gma. It's great. And of course the cashier didn't believe me. Stupid cashier. But I bought a cool skirt and some pants for sleep. And a rediculously cheap pair of wierd sandles. And some new earrings that dangle. It's wierd, I'm not used to dangly. And I also got a Double Dare shirt. I thought it was great, and it was 'cheap' so hey, why not. I got paid today, and you have to splurge sometimes.
So we finish this and then Kara and I go and have a bite to eat at Jays. Then it's off to RIT for a Drag Show. It was fun. It was mostly the queens and kings from Muthers, but a few from Tilt. It was great though. The thing I do love about going to RIT things, as I say every time I go there, is the Interpreter. It's always funny. Especially when they get them to say/sign words like fuck, vagina, masturbate, etc. Also, the Interpreter tonight... definatly dressed in drag. It was this like big guy with a school teacher like outfit on and a blonde wig with crazy red nails. It was great. I throughly enjoyed it. Before the show started they had a raffle and we all did a survey or whatever. About half way through the show they drew the ticket, and it happened to be Christine's number. So she got to go up on stage with 2 queens and the interpreter. She won a 25$ gift certifcate to some gay and lesbian shop or something? Then later Christine and Wick put a dollar bill into one of the queens cleavage. And at the end... the best part... I gave Kara a dollar to go give to one of the kings. So she goes to do it and when she gets up there he decided to feed her a strawberry. So definatly worth a dollar.
After this we decide to go to Wick's friend's house. So we drive down to the Monroe ave area to his house and hang out for a bit. Then we walk down to the 7-11 so some people could get a drink. And Kara and I are standing there, and she trys to sign to me something about a guy being drunk. I show her the real sign and this deaf guy walks by and asks us whos drunk are we drunk? And then proceeds to hit on Kara. Saying that she was beautiful, but of course he's too old. Haha, it was great.
And now here I am. Tired and I have to work in T-6h30m. I think it's time for bed. I definatly wanna go out to the clubs now. I found it fun. So let's all go!
