I wish I was on one of the closing teams. The two managers have done a lot to endear themselves to me today. The one recognized the little Slime plushy on my desk. Turns out his kids bought him Dragon Quest for christmas one year!
The other one, V, has been calling me Zelda for the last two weeks because I was cold one day and came in with my Legend of Zelda jacket. Well, today she saw my Alliance pin (there's no race like Gnome) on my desk and wigged out. Turns out her boyfriend got her in to it! She's been stopping by my desk frequently since then to talk. She said, "You know, never in my life did I think, 'tonight we're going into a dungeon' would become part of my lexicon."
Also, we were talking about how your first toon (yes, she used the word toon) is the one you are most like and when I said I played a Gnome Mage she said, "yeah, I can see that!"
Best. Workday. Ever.
