[016] † Delayed words.

One month ago, I was taken by Millennium and experimented on. Közi, whom I understand not to be entirely popular here, and Miss Seras Victoria made it possible for me to be helped out, but most importantly, the Millennium operative known as the Captain helped me escape.

He gave me a note shortly before his superiors destroyed his mind.

I am sure that many want an explanation for my actions. But I'm afraid that my actions are… complex. And with complex actions come complex reasons. Both my joining of Millennium and my attempt to defect were caused by complicated causes that I am not entirely sure I understand myself.

But seeing Klaha on the table… finding out that he was me in another world… opened my eyes somewhat.

Few of us get the chance to see the other path traveled. Where we could have gone if we had made a different decision. If fate had caused this door to be looked instead of another. I got that chance, and I began to think of other paths I might have taken down.

But I must be one traveler, and this is the path I have taken.

I hope against hope that my writing of this letter is completely pointless, unneeded. That tomorrow I will be able to go to the wilderness on myself, try to understand what I want to do. The Major does not care for killing Dracula any longer, and I do not know if that is what I want any longer.

Yet I know that this is unlikely. It is more likely that this time tomorrow, I will be not the man you knew. There is a chip in my head. It is likely they know what I want to do. It is likely they will not let me do it.

It is likely they are watching me write this right now.

Klaha… I hope you get out.

Mina… I love you. More than anything else in this world.

Dracula…

I hope I can find a way to forgive you one day.

Millennium's power is not total. Their own supposedly loyal operatives are capable of seeing the truth.
