Me, too.

I don't really trust them much, though, now that I've watched the events unfolding today. The tree that these grotesque things are being left on is a Japanese cherry blossom tree. They don't actually bear fruit, but the name, plus so many people finding cherries and mentioning eating them... Concerning.

What has been going on today anyway? Is there some myth I'm supposed to know about cherries that I somehow missed out on?

Apparently, corpses and other offerings of flesh and blood have been found at the base of a particular 'sakura' tree in the gardens. If there is a myth, I've not heard it, though I have read that there is a man that regularly cares for the tree, which seems to be sentient and malevolently evil.

... If you ask me why I shall ask you about cupcakes again.

That's disgusting. I'm surprised the deities are even going for this crap.

Hmph, really?

Do you think this is the 'gods' doing, versus the man who controls the tree?

Yes, really. Also, microwaves.

I didn't say that. I just meant I'm surprised they're even letting him do it.

What's not to understand?

From what I've heard, this doesn't seem to terribly out of line.

It's a tiny little box and you push a button and things happen.

Oh?

Yeah, that pretty much is the point.

Yes, oh.

But how?

Well how the hell should I know? You just put it in there and something electrical happens.

I'm not really the one you should be asking.

You're right, I'll not pester you about it.
