New York Tries New Smell, More Popular Than Last Year's "New Car"

A few nights ago, a very pleasant aroma that reminded me of vanilla enveloped New York City. The New York Times reports that, "The aroma not only revived memories of childhood, but in a city scared by terrorism, it raised vague worries about an attack deviously cloaked in the smell of grandma's kitchen."

I smelled it the other night. If you didn't, you missed out.
