It was so pretty out these past two days

I've gotten kind of trapped in winter vacation mode, which means I've been pretty lackadaisical about all things schoolwork this week. It's already midnight and I've barely started my English. Actually, I haven't really started it at all. Go me.

Other than that, this year's been off to a really good start. Making an attempt to go veggie (which, so far, has proven successful), trying to bring myself to finally get rid of my MySpace (which, conversely, has been fairly unsuccessful so far), making a bunch of new friends/regaining a bunch of long lost ones, and having a mad love affair with Stephin Merritt. You know, the usual.

I think the highlight of vacation was the fact that I was in Boston pretty much every day. And also getting wacky presents from ZFab in the mail. And the amazing cookies my Gramz gave me for Christmas. And playing dress-up about a thousand times at $dang's house for New Yeah's. Though I was kinda disappointed that I missed the last ever 11:11 of 2006, not gonna lie.

Despite being an otherwise awesome day, today was a day of many awkward bump-ins. And every single kind of awkward bump-in, too, like so:

- Just flat out unavoidable head-on collisions with people.
- That thing where someone's about to walk into you, and when you move to the side to get out of their way, so do they, and now you're both in each other's way again, and the cycle just keeps repeating until one of you gives up and walks away.
- Turning around when someone behind you is walking in your direction and then you have a totally unexpected head-on collision with someone.
- Walking out of a narrow doorway at the same time as someone else and you both say "Go ahead!" at the same time and it's really awkward because you both end up trying to go ahead and stepping on each other's feet trying to walk out of a doorway.
- Opening a door the same time as someone on the other side and trying to walk around them.

Please tell me you've experienced at least one of those and that I'm not alone in the universe. Because I did each of those things about ten times today, at least 50% of which happened in Photo.

Okay, I am tired, that is all for now.
