Things that deserve being excited about
- My negatives actually came out in photo! For pretty much the first time. I mean, they're a little bent in some places because I suck at getting them on the spool and they're just a leeetle splotchy because I suck at processing, but for the most part, the pictures are actually there! And they actually look good! AAAHHH. So rewarding.
- I'm making mixtapes for teachers instead of the standard bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee and it pretty much owns. I gave Ms. Y her tape today and she looked so happy! And I'm giving Mr. Hutton his tape tomorrow and I think he's going to die, probably, because he just seems like a mixtape kind of person. So, it's all just really cute.
- Mr. Richards came into homeroom and was all "Hey, great job with the paper, feel free to write whatever you want about this whole honor roll thing. I won't be offended!" Which was quite le sweet of him, especially considering how ridiculously overblown the whole honor roll thing's gotten. Pssht.

- Finally sent in my CIT app (job application just doesn't sound right. mmmmnope.). Now I just gotsta wait until the interview (job interview doesn't sound right either - more like totally awesome chat with Toby and Sally and Tom, hopefully).
- Definitely NOT getting a fucking filling after school tomorrow because my dentist definitely DIDN'T find any cavities in my molars today because I definitely DON'T suck at brushing my teeth. But my dentist is a dearheart and I love her, so it's okay.
- Decorating gingerbread houses last Monday! And spending the whole week sitting by my Christmas tree listening to Vince Guaraldi and eating gingerbread. And now Christmas is in only four days, but technically three days for me since I do the 24th with one fam and the 25th with the other. So I pretty much win.
- Oh, so how awesome is 2007 going to be? A lot. Like, aside from National History Day, I already have a huge line of awesome plans through March and then April is birthday time and then springtime in May and June is just excitement and then summer and WOW.
- UUUHHH def saving my 10-million-page-long Oedipus paper until the day it's due (i.e. tomorrow) because I love first period study. OKAYBYE.
