Splinter
All I can say is "Splinter" is one hell of a 82 min movie ride. A couple that went on a camping trip were abducted by an escaped convict and his girlfriend, and situation has it that they got stuck at an isolated gas station being stalked by a Splinter parasite that transforms its still living victims into deadly hosts. The gore delivers and a couple of the scenes induces some agonizing moan from me. Solid acting and although pretty minimal CGI managed to create a pretty scary on-screen creature that rivals John Carpenter's "The Thing".
