Hey now, what does THIS button do.....

Oh hey look, it's a post!

This past 10 weeks has been pretty busy and scary and boring and hard all at once, and as usual LJ took a backseat to my desperate inability to multitask RL and fandom. :-(

I've recently gone through the various stages of falling in and out of love with the Winchester boys, starting with "OMG Wincest!" and proceeding onto "WTF are they doing over at the CW" and finally settling into a more mellow "I don't CARE that they're buggering up my boys in RL, I'm going to put my fingers in my ears and sing REALLY LOUD. Lalalala I can't HEAR you!"

All in all, I've found that living in my own happy little world where Sam'n'Dean actually like each other around and between all the squabbling (and sex) is really best for all of us. *G*

During one of my more traumatic Wincest moments, I decided to check out Numb3rs. I figured it would be brotherly luvin' minus most of the fubared angsty stuff that I was twitching about over in Supernatural. Much to my surprise I find that I don't really actually LIKE Numb3rs. I mean, Don Eppes has this amazingly gorgeous shy little smile, and I find him a very likable character. But Charlie? I mean, on his own, yes fine, he's a good guy. But next to Don I find him actually a bit... bland? Not genuine? I don't know, I just don't feel any chemistry between them until they're all in a room with Judd Hirsch, and then it's a sweet family thing but not much else. I mean, even the show doesn't grab me the way Criminal Minds or SVU does.

I guess the thing is that Sam'n'dean live such a marginalized, strange, messed up life that it only makes sense that they would turn to each other to survive it - it's like they're living in an alien world right here on Earth. Don and Charlie? Whether it's from the everyday setting or the lack of chemistry between the actors, I find that I just don't have any fun going there.

And while I'm talking about going places - only 2.5 months until my trip to New Zealand!

Anyone else watching the 2 hour Leverage thingy tonight?
