I'm sorry, Mr. Thomas Frank and his cronie..Mr. josh Rice, but I do not agree with you. I was babysitting the KOzub kids tonight and after the Princess Diaries ended..I watched CSPAN 2-BOOKS...(yes..I am a nerd and I was doing my math homework while watching it..I really am a nerd...lol) and they were taping this guy, Thomas Frank, author of "what' ( Read more... )

1. Yes I do happen to have a class with Rice, and though he strongly told us his views in politics he also took the liberty of explaining Bush's views too. I don't know about the other classes he has, but he was fair with us. He debated freely with some students as well and no one was offended.

2. Why pick on my spelling...does it do justice for something?

:)

3.By the way you spoke before of Rice, you gave the impression of which I took to be a dislike towards Rice. I apologize if you happened to be discouraged by my lack of reasoning. I also wasn't aware of the courses you were taking, and if that is your opinion that is fine. But, think about it, what would Rice have to talk about during the election is he couldnt use his opinions? He is a smooth talker, yes, but class would be a tad bit dull if he had no input...especially for eccentric, hot-headed students like me who love to discuss and talk.

4. The weed part was about of a poor metaphor on my part stating how many of you top college people think we "high schoolers" are still hiding under egg shells and being brainwashed to believe in anything we are being told. Again you speak of what liberalists are doing to get young people to vote democratic, but the same goes for both ways! No side is ever innocent, NEVER. Politics these days are dirty...both liberal and conservative. I speak from a free point of view for I am on neither side. Each and every political party works dirty to get supporters. It's not quite fair to only point out the plans of a villain who has only a part in the master-minded plot. Republicans know how to play dirty too...

4. As for the "Ignorance must be bliss..." comment, I pray that wasn't pointed to me. I am not naive (yes I spelled that right), and would hope to be considered a tad more wiser than the average ape lugging a backpack.
