i feel that the child in your class who said that all iraqis should die is a huge misinterpretation of what the republinacs stand for..he is obviously a bad example and should be shot immidiately..lol..jayykayy..no shooting...but in all fairness..his comment was very ignorant and anyone who proposes bush knows that in his respect for all life, the respect and love for the Iraqis is high on the list...yes, of course there will innocent casualties.but what war hasn't had them? hafd to get him before he got us, america is a powerful force in this world and although it is "nice" to have the backage of the UN, you sometimes have to go it alone and do what you think is right...It is important to not just be antiwar..but pro-troops..
I have not had the "privildge" to have mr. finklestein as a teacher..but I would seriously love to have him. it sounds like the fact that he tells his students the GOOD things about bush is wrong...but yet..I haer the bad all the time and no one has the balls to come forward and asy "ypu now..this guy won the election..america obviously has faith in him..so he must not be that bad..." unless we in the east are the "educated and enlightened ones "(..thank you thomas frank,,using your own against you!ha!)and think that the red states are all ignorant red necks and against their own...w/e..i just don't see the logistics in it all..

in all fairness, war is never an answer to anything and SHOULD never be an answer. war was never right in the first place, and it wasn't Iraq who directly attacked us...
also, how can I not be pro-troops? They were put there against there will...they are mere chess pieces in this brutal game. they had no say at all to what was going around them, and as I have a heart (hopefully) they do get my sympathies and worries.
it's kind of ironic how Bush is against abortion yet he goes and kills millions of Iraqis...children, women and men. these arent just casualties...these are murders. same on our side, out soldiers weren't murdered by Iraqis, they were murdered by a decision by a man too hasty and too stupid to think. War is never right despite what politics or religious excuses say...never ever right.
Mr. Fincklestein is a fickle character. He's like a Rice....only not. He's worse than a Rice actually...much worse.
And just because Bush won doesnt mean ALL AMERICA has faith in him.....I certainly don't. I didn't have faith in Kerry either...I prefered Nader if anything!
