Friday night I went to the city's Art Walk. In the middle of the Art Walk Rene calls me and tells me something I can't believe happened, or really how it happened. I come from from the Art Walk with the girls and other friends have some beers and go to the record player and realize what Rene had told me earlier. The record needle stripped off the cartridge. Listening to Robert Johnson can make your head feel as if it's busted open, or slowly seeping out of it contents that it's uncontrollable. For those of you who don't know who Robert Johnson is, he is a solo delta blues singer/guitar player whos influenced any blues and rock n' roll band, which initally is the woooosss we hear in the back of our heads of 50's, 60's and 70's music. Once again, I saw some old faces going out to town, but going out with Mitch, Christan, and Claire allowed me to plainly have a wild time being myself. I ran into so many old faces I was so happy to see. Come out, Come out, wherever you are!
I recently started reading Factotum by Charles Bukowski. I bought it a couple years back, but never had the chance to sit down and enjoy myself and get some reading in other than school books. Being with someone you want to spend much of your time with doesn't really allow the simple things like reading a book to take place. I'd rather talk to Rene all night, because I know we can and we still do. I fell asleep reading last night and I felt him take the book off my chest and lay it by my bedside. What a sweet man. He's a man I'll never replace.
I <3 him.
I only took two photos while at the Art Walk: Killer shoes...I heard "fierce shoes" as I was walking down the sidewalk.
Broken Needle:
Best Friends Wedding: The tequila from Guadalajara. Couldn't even take a photo correctly.
