all in the family
Being a person that wants to have friends and family around can really suck if the family you are around makes you seem meaningless. Matts mom is a real piece of work. I really feeel horrible for him to have to deal with her. I feel even worse that I have tried to repair damage and bring it back together. There is no repairing.
Since Matts dad died it has gone downhill fast. First we tried to warn her that she was getting swindled by this guy. After a yr or more she reversed mortgaged her home $300k worth, her house was nearly payed off. She said we were trying to control her and banished us from her life
Its now 3 yrs after his dad passed away, The other guys gone and she hates him but theres a New guy! She is completely in love with him. Actually obsessed. We have been told by several people that he is not there for the right reason and they do not like him. They also said we should step in and watch over her. About two weeks ago she had a stroke. Matt got a call. I convinced him that maybe we should step in so we started to feed the cats and care for the house. All his mom talks about is jeff jeff jeff. We then discover that hes in the will and she has given him her valuables/heirlooms to watch over while shes in the hospital. Matt tells her that he thinks thats not right and tries to tell Jeff he needs to back off a bit for her health and wellness. He tells matt 101 reasons why he cannot back away and fights him every inch, runs back to Matts mom and she tells matt to gett off jeffs back or she'll never talk to him/us again. This 40 yr old guys fighting awfully hard this 70 yr old lady he wants nothing to do with! Matt and I really had enough. It puts so much stress on us. If she wants to be taken by a con man than thats what she'll get. Now she cannot even pay her bills and her house will be forclosed soon. Its too bad
My poor vans dying slowly, the lift is about dead and the oil pump went out yesterday. I've been getting jobs but they can't sem to come fast enough. I however am saving for a downpayment on a van.
