Nothing, really
Thought I'd make a general what's up type post.
Work - just "meh" and whatever. Do I look for another job? Do I still apply to grad school? IDK. Kind of don't feel like thinking about it. It's frustrating to know you're never gonna love your current career but also have no clue what you would find an acceptable alternative (other than Rock Star Tuba Player).
Kind of into Pottermore and the whole Gryffindor thing, now. (Sadly after reading several meme-type posts about some more, uh, obnoxious "Gryffindor traits" I had to admit it really does fit me). My username is GlowRiver167 if you want to add me.
Enjoying the brass quintet immensely lately. Nice to have a full group again and should be even better when it's not all cheesy holiday music we're playing. Would be nice to get a few more gigs/holiday cash, though.
In TV/fandom land: Have been surprisingly enjoying Once Upon a Time and (not as surprisingly) Fringe. SUPER disappointed in Grimm. What a brilliantly wasted concept.
OH also following X Factor because of Josh Krajcik. (I'm acquainted with him in the loosest sense of the word. Carlos sort-of knows him. And we have some good friends that are friends of his.) BUT I've been a fan of his music for years and even have it on my ipod.
That is pretty much my life right now: Go to a job I am rather apathetic about (at least I like my coworkers and don't entirely hate it), play a bit of music, watch a bit of television. Haven't been riding my bike much because it's been both cold and rainy lately. And I do miss riding. Especially because I made some new bike friends over the summer and now don't have any bike things to do with them. (They are planning a Columbus Festivus Ride though).
Finally I am excited about the new Muppet Movie.
