Lane Bryant is a store that caters specifically to fat women. So I ask, why would they make all their dresses with silkly CLINGY material? Does this make sense? Do I need a dress to cling to my middle? NO. But that is ALL they have.

Plus, I can't tell you how many things I haven't bought because they made the size 2 Lane Bryant model look fat in the catalog. Um, yeah. The size 2 model looks fat, but the size 18 me is going to look slender and stunning?
HELLO? You can't just fucking SIZE UP clothes meant for a stick person and have them look good on a curvy person!!!

That makes me SO mad. It's insulting and offensive. And they have the nerve to say, "Oh we DO use plus size models." Um, yeah. If Twiggy there is a size 14, she must be TWENTY SEVEN FEET TALL!!!

Lane Bryant used to have fabulous fabrics that were actually cut and designed for voluptuous women. Now it's like, "Welcome to polyester grandmaville" or "sluts r us."

Pet peeve. I think catalog models should be at LEAST the size of the average person who will wear the clothes. Grr.
