I keep posting, because I keep delaying putting the computer away.
Did anybody here ever read "Cricket?" It was a literature magazine for children ages 9-14, I used to get it, and I absolutely LOVED it. I found my collection of them today, and they made me rather depressed. I wish I were still 12 years old. I wish I weren't the person I am. I'm not even that Tyler Ayres anymore. I'm some bastardized consumer-whore version on me. I cried for about an hour, just wishing that this wasn't the way I had turned out. But I can still change...
Anyway, I got a little worried that the magazine might not be around anymore. Really really worried. So I did a little searching on the internet to see if they're still around.

Praise the Lord. They're still around after over 30 years. I'm seriously considering trying to get a job there. That would probably require me going to college for journalism and literature, but it'd be worth it. I'd feel better about myself doing something for kids than I would making music.
