Dear neighborhood children,
When you see a scowly man practicing with sword, staff, etc., in a tennis court, there are a few things you should NOT do.
*Repeatedly attempt to draw his attention to you - If he seems like he's ignoring you, he most likely is because he's concentrating. Yelling "HI!" several times, each louder than the last, does nothing to make you more important than the weapon he's currently using. Be quiet and watch.
*Loudly whisper about him to your girlfriends - Similar to the preceding point, your desire to be the center of attention, even at the expense of everyone else, does little to endear you to people who are actually working at improving themselves (not to mention your BFFs.)
*Run towards the man with reckless abandon to get a close look - I'm surprised I have to say this, to be honest. If a man is waving a large stick or 3 foot razor around, ignore your impulse to impale your neck on his weapon. This alarms not only said man, but also your mother whom unjustly blames the man for your suicidal tendencies. Please stay far, far away. Both of you.
No love for any of you,
Me
