NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS MEME✮
So, 2009! Was less than totally horrible, although I think there were some pretty bad patches. (June and August and- well, December- in particular, I think.) also what is it about April but that's not the point. Good patches… I don't know. I think so, but I'm pretty horrible at remembering them.
…which seems to be a pattern, actually. And I swear I remember reading something about how memory tends to focus on the bad things more, but I've got no idea where that was now, and… anyway. More to the point, the year in review- or at least, the parts of it that've been bugging me.
Overall, I think- haven't counted up numbers or anything yet, but I think- that I've probably written the most in this past year than in any other, save perhaps around 2003/2004. Got working on a few projects which'd been hanging around for a while, which's something, I suppose, and got thinking about a few others, though I haven't got too much done with those just yet… I got at least ten thous in November, after all… don't think I managed that even the first year I went for it, and there's however much the various bits and pieces posted over the rest of the year. …but it doesn't feel like enough, particularly in comparison. So it feels like I'm failing. But… it's not that way, is it?
…maybe I just need my own goals.
…so, sorry to bother people, but… if I could ask a favour. If I don't have the rest of those two flavours completed by, say, the end of February, kick me or something, yeah? …I'm not guaranteeing I'm posting them to the comm or anything, though, there's things I'm thinking about and I'm not sure what it's worth to me right now.
