As a Portraitist, the character is everything to you. You value the character's personality and development more than anything else, and your goal in roleplay is to flesh the character out in any and every way possible. You're the method actor of the roleplay world: you know your character through and through (you've probably done a ton of research) and you enjoy throwing your character into new and random situations just to prompt interesting reactions. However, you're hard to involve in any plots, mostly because ongoing stories that don't focus on exploring your character's innermost depths quickly bore you. Also, you might like to put your character in tragic/stressful situations a little too much.

Concept for an original story prompt. Don't really like it. I am not sure that the mods would approve, either, which… was part of the incentive, really. Meh.

We had an April Fool's challenge at Lower Tadfield Safe House. Obviously I didn't get this done anywhere near on time, but. Various folks as Katamari cousins!
…I don't think I'm going to do anything else with it. Ah well.
One of the projects I have in mind to eventually get to is designing a tarot deck for myself. And there's a tarot quiz floating around, so I figured what better base to use than some of the characters in my head.

The tree on the left might end up being the Mana Tree, if I can swing it. Building on the right's meant to be incomplete, though. I think it needs more brambles behind him. And more foliage on the side of the road.
So someone posted a Loveless crossover request on the meme, which I haven't really done anything about. It's an idea which intrigues me, though, and I'd like to poke at it some. I don't think what I'd be writing would really match what the requester wanted, though. OH WELL.

I can't keep most of what I've done on this sheet, since characters that turn into beasts (or, well, the other way around) aren't allowed- which I don't think was stated at the time, but I've been wrong before- so I'm going to have to discard that plotline for the OCT. It's a pretty definite part of her backstory at this point, though, so… exploring it outside of the tournament'll be the way to go, I guess.

I need to do some more work on her outfit, and her colour scheme- not entirely happy with this. She's got some purple as well, I think.
And in other news, Mononoke is pretty awesome.
