Couple of drabbles.

Yes. I know. Others to do. Just… argh, if I don't get this first one written in some bit I'll forget it and I don't know what I'm going to get done with the other. Thoughts please? *sadface*

Working title: Structure
Prompt/whatever: kh_drabble's challenge 157, Double Helix (I so want to work the science club in, but I have NO IDEA how ): )
Rating: G as a G thing.
Warnings: NONE
Canon: GUESS.
Notes: I may have an issue with prompts. This is… I dunno. Not-really-pinging.
AS AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS: I remember a slightly different structure being thought of in the race to discover what DNA looked like. I don't remember who did the triple helix right now and I don't want to look and basically I'm not actually sure this fits into the prompt. *sadface*
This also kinda fits in with another idea, sparked off by nirvana_falling's post on destiny_trio here.

First, if you'll recall, there were two boys, Riku and Sora, except you didn't see them apart much. Often enough, certainly, and especially once they got into schooling (Riku being just that bit older than Sora), but it was a fair chance you might have heard them referred to as Riku-and-Sora regardless.

Then there was another girl, and they pulled her in- or Sora did, rather, claiming "she's nice! And it kinda balances things out, right?"- and that small group became Riku-and-Sora-and-Kairi (which, I'm sure you'll agree, is a little harder to say).

And then there was something that happened- most aren't quite sure what, especially these days- and the three of them were torn apart. Not intentionally, but it still happened, and they were kept apart longer than they would have liked. But they found each other, and returned here, and some say Sora-and-Riku-and-Kairi shouldn't work, all entwined like that…

But I don't know. It's worked for us.

…I like the word 'sortaley'. I'm not sure it exists elsewhere though. Ehhh.

SECOND DRABBLE NOW.

Working title: Stagger
Prompt/whatever: I've listed 50episodes' Table 3 Prompt #01: Birth in the document. Nooot sure how well it fits.
Rating: G
Warnings: I'd say Chain of Memories, but it's so incredibly vague I don't think anyone'd pick up on it if I didn't point it out. A NAME WOULD HAVE HELPED, SQUARE.
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Notes: Someone said something about things changing if an individual had not been killed. This isn't that fic, though it's kind of part of what sparked this. This… may get into that. Eventually. Except there're other things I reckon could be fun to play with, and in any case it looks like a big honkin' Epic AU sort of affair, and that's. I don't trust myself with that.
…don't exactly want to hand the bunny over either, though. Argh.
…thoughts would be nice. *hopeful look*

His head was splitting. He didn't know how he'd managed to get this far- well, no, he did (mostly by putting one foot in front of the other and supporting himself against the wall), he just didn't know where wherever he currently was happened to be.

He opened one eye to try and get a look at the place so he could work that out, and was that one of the worse ideas he'd had that day. His sight hadn't exactly improved since the last time he'd tried to take a look at the world- not helped by the world he was looking at being mostly greys. Probably. He hadn't looked for very long.

It didn't look like things had improved much, either.

He figured he probably needed to get some rest, but he was pretty sure there were Heartless around somewhere, and who knew what Axel was up to, now. It got harder to keep focused on walking, though, with his sight like this…

He could keep walking, though, as long as the wall was there. Just follow the wall, lean on it, put one foot in front of the other…
