Is it okay to say my friends are obsessed with coffee? I've adopted a freshman whose name has officially been changed to Chai Latte. What? Why? He's a rather intelligent person and a friend of my brother's (are those two terms contradictory?). . . and when we aquainted ourselves at the bikeathon (very fun, btw!) he must have thought we were rather sane people, despite the spontainious four-person dance off. I personally am against the nickname - coffee is caffeen-flavored sludge, and Chai was originally a tea, darn it! But calling him Chai Latte is just too much fun. ^_^
The new freshmen were supposed to be a terrifying bunch, but I supposed all the really bad ones have been sent to reform school or something, because they're mostly quiet. The only other freshmen I really know is Ben-the-only-freshman-allowed-in-the-art-room, and the first thing he said to me was "Hey, is your brother _____? You really look alike!"
The first thing I said to him was "Yaaarg!" and beaned him in the head with an eraser.
I've gotten addicted to art lately, it's just so much fun. I'm definately doing OVA this year, probably in fashion-design. We might be getting a grant for sewing machines and cloath! Next year we might have a FASHION DESIGN CLASS! I'm excited just thinking about it - I've already demanded Mr. M gives me a spot in the class! I'm afraid we're getting on Mr. M's nerves, what with blasting David Bowie down the cooridoor and Emily and Erin ducktaping me to a chair. (How did they even manage that? Erin was looking right at me and Emily has a broken wrist! Yet somehow I didn't noticed until they got me! Am I really that oblivious? Haha, probably.)
Also, my dramaclub is just about ready to go! I was sick and stayed home yesterday, but today I finally filled out the form and have tons of signatures and plenty of people who promise to join too. We might be going on trips to other schools plays, and even if we can get enought chapperones take a trip to broadway! The other people in the club might get to go to a theater convention, but I have a dressrehearsal for Les Mis then! Waaaaah! (did I mention I actually got in? It's cause John loves us. Rissa says I've turned into one of his 'it girls', though i don't have a lead i do all the fun little parts. ^_^) Though I think we have to have elections to see who gets to be prez of the club, I've allready officially nominated myself (as the founder) the ultra-director and desided I need to make an armband now. XD -Aigu- nearly mauled me when I tried to write our purpose as being 'to find aliens, timetravelers and espers and have fun with them!' on the club charter. XD
One of my new favorite movies is definately Across The Universe. I know Alicepotato will be dissapointed, cause it's all about the characters from the beatles songs but . . . it was so great!!!
Running out of things to say . . . I'm getting Gyoon from Esthermo tomorrow, and I have that book Alicepotato recomended me, "The Looking Glass Wars" on hold. I just finished Making Money and there are NO WORDS to describe how awsome it was, unless i rewrote the book here for you. I remembered why Terry Pratchett is my absolute idol. ^___^ Now he says Moist Von Lipwig won't be sucessing Vetinari, which I'm both happy and sad about . . . sad cause Moist and Vet are two of my favorite characters, but happy because maybe this means Vet won't be killed off . . .? He said at a booksigning Granny Weatherwax isn't going to die either, which makes me happy. Did you know he was in Conneticut signing in a bookstore like, TWO DAYS AGO??? I'm so pissed, I could have gone to see him! That would have been AWSOME!
So yeah. I really have to update this thing more often, these things always turn out so long! XO
