yet another garden sale
I just preordered 4 kinds of tomato plants, one bell pepper plant, and 2 or 3 kinds of basil plants from www.jerseygrown.net, as preorders for their heirloom tomato sale this saturday in Ramsey!
Mmm tomatoes. Basil.
I also already bought a self-watering not-branded-as-but-essentially-an Earth box from Gardeners supply, so this summer I hopefully will run into less watering issues with the tomatoes. My one concern is that the faux earth box is not quite as deep as the large pots I grew my tomatoes in last season. I guess I'll have to limit it to 2 tomato plants, and then stick the pepper in an old pot, and a tomato in an old pot. Hopefully I can keep 'em alive.
