Uni update
Just thinking about the RSA Design Directions is making me worried and lazy to do anymore research. This RSA thing is a pretty big competition for designers, they give you briefs to solve, you choose one, and if you come up with something creative or innovative, you can win some pretty impressive prizes. The prizes can range from an internship at a prestigious design company to cash worth £1000 or even up to £15,000. So yeah, that is a big incentive, and so there's a lot of pressure. I like competitions, the challenge gives me the drive but I'm worried about my idea not being good enough to be even entered into it... I think my idea has potential, but I need to develop it further along with some sort of visual language. I'm doing the "Natural Disaster Relief" brief, by the way. Righty ho, off to town then. Tonight I'm going to watch Pure Reason Revolution with my sis! Support acts include Flowers from Hell and Red Jetson, with Hope of the States and some DJ performing at the aftershow party. :P PRR's music is progressive rock, akin to Pink Floyd and Genesis, so if you're into that sort of music you should really check them out. Should be fun tonight. :D
