Yeah, I was bummed when I heard I missed you by less than an hour, though it's not like you and I play together much there anyway. Somehow it seems you end up doing all villian roles and we both seem typecast. What's up with that? ;-)
Well, I suspect that both of us are probably OK with our typecasting... I mean, oh no, you really have to twist arms to get you to play a bard or me to play an evil queen. ;)

It was great to see you there, even if I was busy doing other things. I did not realize you were an ant. They were great and our decision to "let them take the picnic" shows a great aspect of Cottington, a lot of encounters which should become fights, don't.
There is a nice variety of Bards in this game. It was a delight to hear you and Greymalkin play.

I wasn't one of the first round of ants. I came out on Sunday morning and the town spackled us without mercy or thought. I guess the NPCs stealing your food was only going to happen once. Sad. :-(
The part with Greymalkin was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise. She told me she plays and I figured recorder. Then she asked if I had more than one and when I said yes I figured she'd pick the recorder. Imagine my shock when she wanted the flute. I was good with it because I lend my instruments all the time and for the kind of music I carry around for LARPing I can hold my own on the recorder perfectly well.
Some of the bard types asked me who I would have picked as a winner for the competition at the fair if I had to pick someone. It led into a marvelous philosophical discussion. Just out of curiosity, did anyone tell you about that?
