While the rest of us were debating what to call the kittens, Elijah decided on what to call "his" kitten. The little girl will be called Mia; no, not as in Mamma Mia, as in Mia the pink Power Ranger. The resemblance is uncanny.
Ok, maybe not so much, but it's what he wanted, I don't hate it, and who am I to argue with a five year old?
That leaves me with naming my little guy. Based on Elijah's choice I'm tempted to go with Pharoah, as there's layered meanings in it. Of course the obvious one is the misspelling of Farrow as in Mia Farrow, the actress. Then again, Pharoah is just a cool name unto itself, perhaps a little presumptious for a cat, though the Egyptians did worship cats and I'm sure *they* think of themselves as equals to any Pharoah. His coloration is right to match Griff, who plays The Pharoah in Madrigal. Do I want to picture Griff every time I think of my cat? Hmmm.... ;-)
So anyway, back to the old drawing board on the naming for my cat. I have until tonight before Monique decides for me, though with half of 'Nip' and 'Tuck' off the table it likely won't be either of those.
