That's one of the big things that bothers me about the fetish "community" as a whole--THERE's NO CRITICISM and when there is, the person who's criticising get accused of being "jealous" among other petty things.

I for one, adore criticism--I like it when people tell me that my shit stinks--it helps me improve on what I've been doing. What I hate, is if I give an honest opinion on someone's work that's not a glowingly positive review that I'm somehow a jealous cunt for doing so.

Criticism is one of the #1 things needed in order to make one's work better and hinders stagnation.

And the next time some model or photographer bitches that someone posted that they're ugly or fat or blah blah blah deserves a kick in the ass.

If you're concerned about what people are going to say about you or your work, then a superficial industry like modeling is the wrong career. Plain and simple.

Hell yeah! It's always been one of my biggest pet peeves is that all I get is "nice stuff" instead of "I liked this or that about what you just released but you could have worked on issues X Y and Z to make it hotter/sexier/more glossy/more gritty"- and it's not just other artists or models, it's the friggin fans too who can't seem to make up their minds on what they want from moment to moment, let alone figure out how to express it in complete sentences. Argh.

Part of the reason I don't even bother, these days. Most of the people who ask for honest critiques DON'T actually want them.
