the trucks arrive to the 'flats' area. to the left, are the flats and to the right the land goes uphill. we see roslin to the left of the trucks (using driving direction to determing left and right here) and the resistance is up on the hill to the right. the cylon executioners arrive from the same side as roslin and the other prisoners (from the flats to the left of the trucks)
in the scene where she is running and there are trees: she exits the truck, and is standing to the rear right. jammer approaches her and leads her to the rear left of the truck column and cuts her free. she ends up stumbling and falling down a small ditch and running thru quite a few small trees which are also on the same side of the cyclon executioners and prisoners. in fact, it seems she is running away from the opposite direction from the resistance, away from the line of fire. we hear gunshots and she is still running then she trips as the scene fades.
in the 2nd, we see her running away from the trucks and heading directly uphill. no ditches, no falling - and with the trucks behind her, towards the resistance as they are taking aim and about to fire on the centurions. she is in the line of fire so the chief goes down the hill to tackler her, and just after that, the redheaded chick takes fire.

as to the baby. if the other cylons dont know who the other 5 are, then they wont know about a baby or it's importance. at least until cally decides to awaken or 'come out' not all the cyclons are aware of all the plans that are in motion.
