summer is flying by...
i'm exhausted..
this weekend at work was stressful, surprisingly enough. usually it's dead and really chilled. but i was working with good staff.. so in that respect, the weekend was still good. i only work weekends at the hospital center now so i really do look forward to going on the weekends.. and just simply, because of the people there. the housekeeping guys are cool too. and so are the security guards. i tell ya, it's a party on the weekends.
what made it stressful was being yelled at (and sweared at, yesterday this was) for issues that were not my fault and i had no control over. heck, i didn't even know about it. but that's what it is being a supervisor! troubleshooting and dealing with problems as they come. i won't go into details of what happened.. but to say the least, i *really* don't know how to respond to people who are screaming at you in your face.. and demand you to do this do that right at that very moment. the employees were really supportive of me, they even said "how can you let him talk to you like that.." "they should put a lock on the kitchen door i tell ya!" hehe. yeah i had a good team this weekend. and got to catch up with a lot of them.. i'm not supposed to be friends with them.. i'm to be friendly but not friends (yes, was told this by the big boss), but it's just so hard! i mean, i usually get along well with anyone.. and everyone *of course* loves me too.. haha..
my new roommate moved in. he's great.. super easy to get along with.. calls me when he's out to ask if i want to join. gotta love the brits. hehe. and he's clean and very considerate. he even lent me some cds! turin brakes and pete yorn to name a couple. i like.
so i'm going to toronto tomorrow again.. to attempt to pass my driving test.. again. travis and warren, don't be strangers now... and ali, if you have time call me!
