What a difference our phone call to the council made with reference to our street and the lack of parking space.
Yesterday we counted over 20 cars with parking fines which has left space for those only able to park on the street.
Today a mere 4 cars. And so much space we can now experience the joy of kids playing cricket in our street. Wait, what kids?
The extra space has solved the parking issues that evolved between neighbors. Including me and Joel next door. I believe Joel is the naked buddha. But we are unsure as this debate was via paper stuck to the windscreen of his car.
He was rather stroppy about it all. But his advice to clear the issue up with the council was great. As it also meant he got a fine for having an invalid permit.

Now it is all back to normal. No more cars with "Horny" and "PinkGirl" and "MeanGrrl" with pink hubcups parked anywhere.
And now the bins can be picked up without anymore hassle.
