James Fredrick Hill
James Fredrick Hill was born on 31 July 1923 in the family farmhouse (SE-32-34-16-W2). In 1939 took over the family farm in Star City, Saskatchewan, Canada. On 9 January 1950 he married Joanne Cecile Dice. They were married for 58 years and had two daughters, three grandchildren and one
great-granddaughter. In 1977 he retired from farming and moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1998 they moved to Stratroy, Ontario, Canada to be closer to his family in Ontario. In 2006 they moved to Petrolia, Ontario, Canada to be even closer to his daughter. He died of secondary cancer of the lung on 23 March 2008 in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada. His funeral is 26 March 2008 in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada. He will be cremated and buried in Star City, Saskatchewan, Canada.
