My Juts are 大bad. While I can usually get off what I'm trying to do, I'm still weaker on right side, and apparently even the smallest weirdness in the controller will make all my half circles fail. I need to train with the cracker more.
Also, I think I should start playing Testawiggle some. Having traps and reaction moves would probably help my reflex.
I finally understand how to play A.B.A. against long range characters. It's all about closing to a little bit away, waiting for an opportunity, poking with 5H and 236S, and if either of those hit follow it up with full rekkas and combo.
So anyway, checklist of things I need to do, in order of how much I think I need to do them:
1) Work on juts with the cracker
2) Stop aerial dashing in for the attack (!!)
3) Practice defensive attacking
4) Learn to throw (this is only far down because I don't know how I can actively do this other than try to throw a bunch, which I'm already doing)
5) C-c-c-combos (this is as far down as it is because the combos are useless until I can start them consistently)
I'm sorry if I seem kind of annoyed after matches and stuff. I actually have a lot of fun playing, and I don't really mind getting my ass kicked much. It's just that I don't seem to be improving. I mean, I made a leap with Bridget, but it was a small one. Other than that I feel like I've just been hanging out on the same play level, even though I know combos and jump cancels and IADs and block canceling, etc, I'm not actually any better at playing fighting games.
