Another reason to hate objectivism
Is it proper for a doctor to perform a sex change operation for a patient?
One out of one objectivists surveyed says absolutely not.
The reasoning behind this is as convoluted as expected. According to Leonard Peikoff (who is rather a big name in objectivism, in case anyone would accuse me of perpetrating straw-objectivists), sex change operations are against objective reality, and therefore bad.
I find myself unable to express how incredibly dumb that is.
