This Semester So Far

This Semester has been both the best and the worst semester so far.
I got initiated into my top house: Delta Delta Delta, which is cool because the girls are super chill and we have a good rep on campus.
Classes aren't going so well though. O-Chem is quite difficult. It's really discouraging to put in so much work for a class and not even pass the midtersm. On the bright side, I found out that I don't enjoy being an Integrative Biology major and that I might not want to do pre-med anymore. It's good that I took myself off of the wrong track now as opposed to later. I used to think that I would be considered a complete failure at life if I wasn't pre-med, but now I realize that that isn't the case at all. All that matters is that I am happy with myself. Hopefully, my new major, Psychology, will work out. The pre-requisites don't seem to hard, however, there are a lot of pre-requisites and it is a capped major, so it is by no means a Cake major. I think that I would excel at the psychology major because I did really well in my psychology 1 class and I found it to be very interesting. Also, I have the right mindset to take those types of classes (impecable memory). So basically, I just need to tough it out in my classes this semester and start anew next semester:
Organic Chemistry 3A:
-I'm gonna talk to Professor Pederson on Thursday to see where I stand in the class.
-I'm taking it pass/no pass and it hopefully will not be too difficult of a class to pass.

Biology 1B:
-Talk to the professor about where I stand and whether the class is curved or not.
-Catch up on my reading and webcasts this weekend since there is not much going on at CAL this weekend (because of the USC game)

Linguistics 55AC:
-I'm doing very well in this class so far
-I might have gotten less than an A on my last midterm, but it's ok because I did on the 1st midterm and all of the reports before that, so all I need to do is keep up good work on the other projects and do well on the final, which won't be difficult.
-It's really important to go to lecture for this class, which isn't too hard because it's not a morning class.

I think that next semester will be much better because:
a.) I'll be living in Tri Delt, can't wait! :)
b.) My classes will be much more to my liking and I won't be wasting my intelligence on science classes which do not suite me at all.
c.) Living closer to campus.
d.) Living in Tri Delt is basically like living in the headquarters of the US Weekly of UC Berkeley because I will find out about all the parties/goings on at CAL.

As I end all of my bad days, I give you...
The List of Things to Look Forward To:
1.) Going home Thanksgiving Weekend and having my own room
2.) Shopping in LA
3.) A New iPod
4.) There's only a month left in the semester
5.) Getting the pictures from this semester and my LA birthday party developed
6.) Putting two of the pictures I have with the delts in the tri delt frames that I got as presents
7.) Getting to decorate my room at tri delt.
8.) Having my residence on facebook read "Delta Delta Delta STUDIO 54"
