Absolutearts.com portfolio for the first time in about 12 months to update some of the pictures and found an email from September.

I'm so gutted I didn't get the email until now! When I was a teenager I was far too nervous to write to artists I liked and even now I hate it when I email people and they don't respond. I've sent a reply but it's probably no use now as the deadline's bound to have passed. He probably thinks I'm a complete twat now.
The moral of the story? Check your emails more than once a year.
