So, I started my first week of college. My greatest fears going into this experience was whether or not I would be able to keep up with the high demands of college. In the course of this, I have to say that I have grown up a little. I know it sounds silly, "a week of college and you think you already have grown up a little? That's ridiculous" But to me it's true. I've had a lot of time to think about stuff in between classes and relaxation times in between studying. When I was just a freshmen in High School, my first action in dealing with new situation was to reject it and only point towards the negative of everything. This caused me to be Baker Acted and to ruin my academic career. But now, as I am entering this new experience of college, I see the positive of it all. Rather then brood and say how much I hate it or complain that it sucks, I look forward to all the things about it that I already love. I am more out-spoken then I usually am. I talk to people I don't know, rather then waiting for people to come up to me. To me, this shows growth from when I was in High School. And I believe that there is a lot more to come. Personally, I can't wait for it. I want to become a better person and grow. No, I NEED to be a better person and grow. I think college is teaching me a lot of stuff, other then "knowledge". So, all I have to say about college is, ITS FUCKING AWESOME...
