Unfortunately diaspora died in the ass when Ilya, the soul behind diaspora, passed away at 22. The remaining core devs only care about the bling, boats and hos. =o= I pretty much wiped my contact list and will probably delete the whole thing soon. :s
I'm on libertree now where two of the contributing devs to D*, rikado and Pistos, have made a new social network based on what diaspora was meant to be (open source, community-driven, secure, private). I think it will go far, but I'm not going to ask anyone to join after so much social net hopping heh.
And yeah I'm still using the old eljays. I'll check your tumblr from time to time!
All is well here. Kids are crankin along (Chloe will be in HS next year /omg). I had a photoshoot planned today, to be one of two faces to represent my hairdresser's new salon, but we postponed until next sat. The other model wasn't sleeping well all week and got anxious about it, and made herself sick lol. I was kinda relieved because I didn't have to tell them I did practically the same thing. ;; :>
