twilight premiere
So.... "Twilight" came out today, well, at midnight last night. I'm really dreading everyone gushing about it as school. I don't necessarily hate the series, but I get tired of always hearing about it. I finally conceded and read the first book last month and I am neither in love or hate with it, though it does go on my short list of books I've had an unpleasant time reading (the list includes The Scarlet Pimpernel aka the DEVIL and Cold Sassy Tree aka the devil's assistant). Alice was the only saving grace in that book and the reason why I eventually finished the book (it took me three months to get through the first chapter). But I wish the fandom nothing but the best. To all the fans and cast and Stephenie Meyer: Cheers!
