Alright, for those of you who actually keep track of the time of my posts, this post is 2 hours advance; which makes two meme a day; which means fail; but i shall still to the change because I don't want to blog again at late nights.
Anyway, for today, it's meme day 4!

I'm a genre/author-dependent reader. I don't consider myself to be a wide reader. I'm choosy that way. But isn't that how things work? You choose what you like, you stick to what you like, and you don't really want to change. Me and my little comfort zone.
I am very lucky to be fluent in two languages, namely English and Chinese. This greatly enhanced my reading experience. It also made me realize how much is lost in translation. This might be the reason why I'm so enthusiastic about learning new languages (but never mastering! Loser.)
Going back to the topic, my favorite book when I was young was this one:
For those who can't see the picture for reasons I don't know why, it's the Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Every time I read that book, I feel like I'm on a mental journey with them. It's meditating. The sunshine, the corn bread, the dogs. The simplicity of life.
There are many more books that I like of course, like, The Vampire Lestat (we have to give credit to Anne Rice, she did write kick ass chronicles before... before...), and many other Asian books.
sigh. i'm so tired. I came back from the office party, and it's totally draining my energy.
