I love that a ladybug reminds you of me!
The cleaning must be progressing but I cannot see a change anywhere. I just cannot.
No writing in this end, either. Stripe! Made my mother trim the split ends of my hair. Stripe!
I hope your car takes the punishment!
Ian wrote me recently and this was what I gave as my answers: And how are you? No blog entries recently.
>>> Yeah, apart the one I threw up (pun somewhat intended) on the last Friday. I am having my annual vacation, and since Ingrid with her brood came to stay at their home, I returned to my own home and there is no internet connection, still. Computer does pick up at least two wireless areas but both are secured and I have no idea whom they belong to, either. So I cannot even make a deal to share them.
>>> I am tired, basically. I and my mother have gone through granny's clothes and damn... when a person has collected stuff for 50 years there is a lot of it. And my mother refuses to get rid of those that still fit her somewhat. I just don't know... The idea of a room that would be mine and FEEL mine as well seems to drift in the grey far future
Work? >>> Will be back doing it on the upcoming Monday. Side by close side with my boss. Since I would like to go to a medival festival (www.mytofest.ee Check the 2008 version) I have to ask a day off. I am not sure she likes that idea. I hope I can trade it somehow. The trouble is that I would have shifted my vacation to cover this period but the information of festival dates got to me too late to change my vacation. And now I am somewhat nervous here because I REALLY want to go but I do not have extra free time floating around anywhere.
Our Lady? >>> I have to call her today. I cut the last call she made short because she phoned me at my dad's birthday and her next call on the next evening was bounced by my mother since I was taking care of my dad's feet (which are surprisingly well right now *knocks the wood*).
Parents? >>> Kinda cursing at each other. Dad only wants to deal with the electronic side of our household (TVs, VCRs, DVD-players), while my mother wants to deal with real problems like a wall that is more than 90% surely done in by wood-eating fungi; making a rodent-proof unit for storing recyclable packages til they are picked up by the garbage-collectors; replacing not closing window upstairs with one that does, etc.
Cats? >>> Mine - roaming free and demanding feeding. Ingrid's are still at her home and likely to stay there (and when I swung by yesterday to give Ingrid's neighbour the apartment keys because Ingrid's oldest daughter conveniently forgot to give hers - they were hungry and there was NO cat food in the house. I had encountered the same situation before and was prepared with a jar). Malle, my ex-boss from TV (a lovely woman) left her cat to my care as well - and this cat is well-behaved kind creature named Napoleon but called Napsik or Napo.
I don't yet have a picture of my hair since its pruning, but it has gone from almost waist-length to just shoulder-length, much easier to care for, especially at this time of year.
Is Ingrid back for good, or is this their idea of a summer vacation?
And she wanted me to keep cat-sitting for her. I love her cats, I do. And they recognised me when I went by and I really-really like how the gray pats me with his soft paw... BUT the apartment!
And although she wanted me to do this, she has NOT contacted me at all recently. The whole keys' debacle came from her neighbour (the nosy one). I just do not get it.
