Summary: It's a renaissance modern era. A vampire was overcomed by his true self drain the blood of a person. He was banded to a castle were he finds a baby. Little does he know the story behind this baby and little does he know his true purpose.
Comments: I wrote this story a long time ago and I decided to modify it into this. This story is completely fiction.

Training day and night, with little rest. Ruki was retrieving all his past powers and gaining a few more with the help of Aoi and Uruha. These two were assisting in the making of a stronger, more powerful Ruler. Ruki was very grateful with the wizard and witch’s help, of course he couldn’t neglect the one that was putting his life on the line to groom and practically protect him, Reita. Ruki still remained a distances from Reita since the bloodlust incident. He felt guilty and was afraid he might go into bloodlust again.
When resting finally came, the young vampire wouldn’t stay in his chamber nor the castle. He would get the urge to explore and that’s what he did. This became a habit for Ruki, he would go into the forest and wander through the tall pine trees, the vast moldy rocks, but his favorite spot to rest was a watering hole. This place was secluded by the trees, but near the castle. He would skip stones or stare at the water, watching his grown up features. While resting he would wonder if the future was going to be the same or worse than the past, “Nothing good can come when the werewolves are involved.” Although this was always in his mind, it wasn’t all he thought about.
Since he drank Reita’s blood, he couldn’t look at him straight in the eye. The other said it was completely fine, Ruki still felt guilt. “It was my first time! I, question if it’s true when a bloodlust vampire drinks from another vampire, it has the same sensation as a human sexual intercourse. If that’s true, did Reita enjoy it?” Ruki blushed with the though of Reita savoring the sensation and moment. This was the main reason why Ruki had a hard time looking at Reita.
Ruki would enjoy this time alone, even though he knew he could be in danger of being attacked. He felt prepared when he was training, but fighting for his life… he didn’t feel prepared, his desired was to be protected by Reita and the others. The feeling of being protected and liked by others was new and it gave him strength, unlike his pass.
Upon returning to the castle he would enter through his chamber window. He did this, so he wouldn’t disturb anyone, which they were resting. And he didn’t want anyone to know he was out, even though he wasn’t doing anything wrong. He just wanted that resting time alone, away from the castle to think. Plus everyone was always worried about him.
As he entered through his window on this half moon night, he thought about how high and mighty he acted during the Aoi and Uruha incident. Saying he was an adult, he just had his passed life experience. Ruki felt just like an idiot, like a child, knowing not a thing, but acting like he knew everything. “I’m not even an adult, I still feel so vulnerable like a baby. I don’t know a thing about this new world, I’ve come into. How can I become a Ruler if I just want to stay a child and be protected?” He got into his bed and laid his head on the pillow.
“Because it was already chosen for you…” A voice immersed from the darkness.
Ruki sat up on hearing the voice, the hair on his back stood up, his eye sight became clearer in the dark filled room. The shadowy figure went close to the bed.
“Don’t worry! It’s only me, your sexy aunt Uruha.”
Ruki sighed and reached for a candle, “Are you trying to kill me?”
“How can I kill you?”
“I don’t know, scaring me to death!”
“Impossible! Anyways you saw it was me, when your eye sight adjusted.”

“Aren’t you cranky? Your not getting enough rest, are you? I want to know where you go when you are suppose to be resting.” The witch sat next to the vampire.
Looking towards the window, “I just went out… to get… some air and its none of your business.”
“Come on, don’t make me read your mind. We still need to work on your lying skills and I heard what you said when you came in.”
“I did go out! And it’s not important, what I said.”
“Ruki… Are you sure? You leaving when your suppose to be resting, to who knows where and you just said you feel like a child in a adults body. If you’re feeling insecure about all this, just say it and we will help you, especially Reita.”
“That’s the problem. I don’t feel… I don’t feel like… I don’t want to talk to him!”
Uruha giggled, “You’ve been acting like this since Reita told us, you drank from him.”
“Don’t say that!”
“What?”
“That I drank from him…” Ruki blushed.
“What’s wrong with that? Vampires do that to survive.”
“Why can’t vampires survive by some other means?”
“Remember vampires go into bloodlust when they are low on blood, which are newborn, after fights or vampires that haven’t drank blood in a long time. But there‘s a way you can survive a 100 years without drinking blood…”
Ruki never heard of this, “How?!”
“You have to eat, I repeat eat one of your worse enemy. And in your case it would be the super human hunters.”
“What?!”
“And the most powerful, which would be Kai.”
“You mean I actually have to eat the enemy. When I first fought with him, I got killed. And that’s the person I have to EAT!”
“You don’t have to eat him. This is an option for those vampires that don’t want to drink blood.”
Ruki looked pensive.
“Don’t worry, you won’t be going into bloodlust any time soon. Unless you get into a fight.”
Ruki was considering eating the enemy, but had to plan how.
“Now talk to your sexy auntie, about what you’re feeling.”
“I’m not feeling anything.”
“Are you sure? Your hair is blue… I know blond means good or normal, brown is mad, black is fighting mode, red is bloodlust, but blue?”

“Does blue mean shyness? I’ve noticed a blondish blue color when you’re around Reita… Ruki… do you like him?”
“NO! I just want to know if Reita felt it.”
“Felt what?”
“When a bloodlust vampire…eh… bites another vampire… they feel… different.”
“You mean, you want to know if Reita felt that sexual satisfaction, when you drank from him.”

“Oi, Uruha, you replaced me with a vampire.”
Uruha stood up from the bed and laughed, “You know I will never replaced my sexy, wizard.”
Ruki under covered himself to see Aoi, half bare and Reita with the band on his nose.
“Reita, Ruki wants to know if you had that sexual satisfaction, when he bit you.”
Ruki’s hair turn back to blue, he felt embarrassed and shy so he hide himself under the cover once again, while Reita stood in front of the bed shocked.

“I think we should leave. Come on, Uruha.” Aoi dragged his lover out of the chamber.

“Ruki, is this what’s troubling you? Why didn’t you ask me sooner?”
The young vampire uncovered and bit his bottom lip.
“Blue means shy and embarrassed… that’s cute.”

“I’m sorry.” Reita laughed, “I’m teasing you. Now tell me what’s troubling you.”
“Did you feel… that when I bit you?” Ruki acted like a little girl admitting she did something wrong, but trying not to get into trouble.
Reita took in a deep breath, “I hope nothing changes, but I can’t lie to you. It’s normal to feel that sensation, when you get bit by a bloodlust vampire.” He looked at the young one, worried.
“How did it feel?”
“Lets say it’s better than a human sexual intercourse.”

“WHAT?!” Reita would have fallen on the ground if the bed wasn’t there to catch him.

Ruki laid back in his bed, while Reita tucked him in. Ruki for an instead saw Reita as a father figure, but became disgusted with the idea of Reita being his father.
