Okay, folks, I'm going to perform an experiment here. A lot of people tell me I'm not social enough, so I'm going to try updating every day. Now, you guys can tell me when you get sick of me and when you don't want to hear anymore from me. Tell me I'm lame, please. If I actually am, that is.

Anyway, here's my post. I'll start all over and tell you some uninteresting things about meself.

I work at Kroger. I am a courtesy clerk. Enough said.

I am a junior in high school, with two gifted classes, one honors, an AP, and a CP level. I'm also in the highest possible band class.

I play the baritone horn and the euphonium, which, if you know much about musical instruments, should tell you a lot about me.

I am in the marching band. This year's show is called "Labyrinth". It's based on an old SCV show.

My favorite TV show (and pretty much the only television I watch) is House, MD. I also like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett and Roald Dahl (both his adult writings and his children's lit). However, I will be waiting in line at midnight for the next Harry Potter book.

My favorite actors are Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp, Ralph Macchio, Christopher Walken, Omar Epps, Robert Sean Leonard and Anthony Hopkins. My favorite actresses are Lisa Edelstein, Elizabeth Taylor, Fay Wray, and... I guess I don't have any more. Reese Witherspoon is decent, I guess.

My favorite band is The Beatles, and I have too many favorite songs to list. I'll tell you that I love the Beatles' "Dr. Robert", though, because it's so underrated. And their "A Day in the Life". Hardly anyone's ever heard it. My favorite composer it Gustav Holst, followed by John Philip Sousa.

If I could go anywhere in the world right now, I would go to Manlius, New York. Then London. Maybe Boston, too, to see the symphony and meet Douglas Yeo.

I want to be a veterinarian and I'm looking to go to either Auburn U in Alabama or maybe to UGA. Maybe I'll go to Miami for pre-vet and transfer.

I have one younger brother who's 12 now and is a 7th grader. I have no sisters.

I have one six-year-old dog (a Spaniel mix) named Savannah and a Heinz 57 kitten who's no more than a few months old (she's a rescue, I really have no idea how old she is). We debating on names. It's either Ginny, Genny, Creamsicle, Genny Cream, or Miss Thing. I call her Cat or Thing. I also have two large rats, named Wulbert and Algernon. My brother has a medium rat and a small rat, named Alameia and Lilo. We have a small school of fish named "the boys".

I'm involved with a local Co-Op, and I have to say, volunteer work is one of the most rewarding activities I've ever been involved in. You should try it.

I think... that's it.
