The day spent.
My day off is already gone. D: I hate that. I've got the second shift tomorrow and late shift Saturday. -_-; I love the morning shifts. I can just get it all over with and move on. I need to stock some Yakisoba in my locker, though. My schedule never tells me if or when I'm getting a lunch break. Times are determined on the same day... so that's a con. Mom went by yesterday to pick up another Easter garland and I missed her because I was on my break. XD; I didn't think I was going to get a meal break last night, so I didn't bring anything. Good thing I had some change, though. I got some Cheetos and a candy bar to hold me over. :3 Our breakroom is OMGNICE. It's HUGE, has a full-sized refrigerater/freezer, microwave, sinks, vending machines, the works. <3 The breakroom at Hellstings (er... Hastings) is a closet compared to this. XD;
While I was in Hastings not too long ago, picking out some rentals, I wandered by the Magazine section, per usual. And Heavy Metal has put out Requiem Part 4. ;___; I wanted to buy it SOSOSOSO bad. Yes. I know. Heavy Metal = geeky scifi/fantasy porn geek comic magazine. Blame my sister for bringing me into the world of Heavy Metal; she made me watch the movie when I was 12. XD; I missed Requiem Part 3. I need to get a backissue of that. Anyway... I recommend it for people that like Vampire stories, war stories (WWII), and those that aren't phased by a lot of gratuitous nudity (mostly because of the ads in the magazine itself). Its style is gothic. I think what grasped me the most is the LOADS of detail in this series; in fact, it looks as if it were done in watercolor. Mills and Ledroit, I love you. I just wish this US release wouldn't be so staggered. One part a year? Yeesh. They're just going to be evil that way.
I think I'm about to start on the banner on my costume soon; I got out the stuff today. I'm just having issues finding the gradient material. Or even finding a sheer material that can take dye. D: RAWR. It doesn't have to be sheer, but I would kinda like it to be so. *sigh*
Lint follows me around. XD; I had to take Dad out to get his pickup and Lint kept following me to the door. It was funny. I'd pick her up, run her over to Precious, and run back to the door and sneak out. XD; Also, Lint's been claimed. Mom's boss wants her. :3 I really really wanna keep Chiise, but I don't know if that'd work out. :\ I've already got Rocket and Beatrix and they're more than enough feline than I can handle. I was laying down playing with the kittens and Demon Kitty (Precious) tackled my scalp and started biting my hair and crap. o_O; She's possessed. And she has a hair fetish. -_-;
